“AI in Nature” – A collaborative work by Jaliel King & Christian Rutherford

We contributed photos that we each took throughout the spring semester to this collage, as they showcase the campus in different parts of the year. The connection here is that as we progressed through the Humanities course, our knowledge and understanding of the H/humanities grew and developed, similar to how the greenery in our photos grew following the cold of the winter. Additionally, we incorporated the use of AI to produce pieces that reflect the progression of time within nature and how nature is perceived through the lens of artificial intelligence. And thus, “The Blend Between the I and the Machine” was born.
